On March 17, 2009 Aspern celebrated its 9th birthday at Darnytsa Cultural Palace. The children organized an afternoon of entertainment for the many guests. The Austrian ambassador honored us with his presence.  

On his official visit to Ukraine on October 31, 2008, Yves Leterme, Prime Minister of Belgium, took a historic train ride through Podol with the children from Aspern.
